Troubleshooting the receiving A300-antenna (12dBi) and the videoLink

So far we know that the LCD-monitor, the camera and the transmitting A300-antenna (5dBi) are

functioning, therefore we can connect the receiving A300-antenna (12dBi) with the videoLink.

No picture (black & white interference)

Possible error

• The videoLink is not supplied with power

• Wrong channel is chosen on the LCD-monitor.

• At least one of the two joints on the 5m

antenna cable is not correctly connected.

• The cable might be pinched.

• No antenna on the transmitting part of the

videoLink.

Action

• Connect the 5V power adapter to a

functioning 220V wall socket, LEDs will light

on the videoLink.

• Choose the same channel as the videoLink

transmits on (usually 1), i.e. not the

transmitting channel of the camera.

• Inspect the joint on the videoLink and the

joint of the A300-antenna, screw and tighten

using moderate force.

• Inspect the cable. If it has been bent more

than 90°, the wire inside the cable might

have been broken. Order a new cable from

www.horsecam-europe.com.

• Make sure that you have connected

the black transmitting antenna (2dBi) to

the transmitting part of the videoLink in

accordance to the illustration in chapter 11.
