1. Is the signal between the camera and the receiver encrypted?

The signal between the camera and the receiver is not encrypted and is not possible to

encrypt. To capture the signal someone else has to be within the range of the camera with a

receiver that operates on the same frequency.

2. What does a clear “line of sight” mean?

With a clear line of sight it is meant that no objects what so ever (walls, trees etc.) can be found

between the camera and the receiver. The pictures will gradually worsen and become more

and more unstable when the camera gets too far away from the receiver.

3. Why does the picture quality decrease when the camera or LCD-monitor is in motion?

When carrying the camera or LCD-monitor smaller disturbances might appear in the picture.

This is due to the fact that the signal towards the receiver is constantly transmitted from

different angles.

4. Is the camera water resistant?

The camera in your horseCam-solution is classed as IP66. This means that the camera is well

protected from both dust and humidity. It is capable of being placed outside when raining or in

damp environments such as stables and barns.

5. Is it possible to add extra cameras to my horseCam solution?

It is possible to add cameras to your horseCam-solution. Contact LUDA Elektronik for further

6. Can I receive the picture on my TV/PC?

The horseCam-solution is delivered with cables for connection to TV for both the videoLink and

the LCD-monitor. LUDA Elektronik is working on a solution for connection to PC. Visit

7. How do I obtain longer range?

To be able to position the A300-antennas optimally, longer antenna cables might be necessary.

8. How do I obtain a wider camera viewing angle?

When this user’s guide was made, it was not possible to increase the angle of the camera. Try

to move the camera or extend your system to include more than one camera to supervise a

9. Can I see my horse from the Internet?

LUDA Elektronik is working on a solution for connection to PC and thereby also the possibility

10. Can I receive pictures from the trailer without starting my car?

Since the power is cut when the engine is shut down the picture will disappear from the LCD-

monitor. LUDA Elektronik offers a re-chargeable battery box that can be connected to the
